Anupam Shyam To Get Discharge Today Evening, Brother Anurag Says 'I Am Short Of Money To Pay The Bill' - EXCLUSIVE
Anupam Shyam who has been part of some popular films and TV shows is currently hospitalised in Goregaon, Mumbai. The actor was admitted to ICU on July 27, when he collapsed after his dialysis. However he is stable now and in fact will be getting discharged today evening. However his younger brother Anurag says in spite of seeking financial help, he is short of money to get him discharged.

Talking to us exclusively, Anurag told SpotboyE.com, "My brother is safe and feeling better now. Doctors have decided to discharge him today evening. Although he has been suggested a kidney transplant in coming months. As he is too weak for any operation now. That will tentatively cost around 40 lacs and I don't know how I will manage it. For discharge also I am short of money and trying to arrange that right now".

He adds, "After sharing bank details people have definitely come ahead for financial support but the amount which has been arranged is too less compared to the bill amount. Thankfully Manoj Bajpayee sir transferred 1 lakh to the account which has been of major help".

Talking about his health, Anurag had earlier told us, "He has been keeping unwell for the last six months now. He has an infection in his Kidney due to which we had admitted him to Hinduja Hospital back then and got him treated for almost one and half month. That time his health got fine but he was suggested dialysis, from time to time. But he decided to go for ayurvedic treatment as dialysis costs a lot. That didn't help. He got breathless recently because of not doing dialysis. His chest got filled with water, so we again started his dialysis and he started getting relief."

Also added, "I was getting his dialysis done in a Malad hospital but yesterday after his dialysis he collapsed and they suggested we take him to some other hospital which has an ICU. So I got him admitted to this hospital but it is expensive and we don't have money for the treatment. All of what he has earned has already been spent on his medication. We are really in need of money. I request you all to spread the word in his fraternity so that someone can come ahead and help us."
